Blown it! Blown it again! Bloody blow football!

So, how is everyone? Me? Well three trips to PC world to get a new wireless router and I am finally back in the land of the on line living. As for trying to blog from my phone, well lets say I am not that impressed that I can sign in but no keyboard. Samsung and T-Mobile explain please!

Anyway I got together with Surfergirl to watch he game and Dave Stone joined us. My usual text exchange with Mr Winstone done I was all set to watch 3 points. No way would our blow football straw be blocked and bent out of shape by the Wolves at our door. Wrong! It was another game of we should have done better, this is becoming a bit repetitive and the press are glady jumping on the Arse bashing wagon where spuds could crap in front of the Queen and arry would be applauded for his thinking, brilliance and all, being the media darling!

In ten minutes we were ahead. Of all people Gervinho proved to be our first scorer, looked very dodgy at the time but he actually put the ball in the back of the net. 1-0 The Arsenal and thanks! Benayoun looks really comfortable in an Arsenal shirt now setting up the goal with confidence. I hope he figures in Arsene's plans for the future, but where the hell did Hennessy find that display from? Yes we were sloppy with the equaliser, a quicker defence would have put him offside but that is our problem. " we must learn from our mistakes" is a phrase I am getting tired of hearing from Arsene. So go and teach them to sort it out! I know I know we have injuries, people out of position etc etc but we must look at our defence accordingly and practise. Not moan about it afterwards. Arsene also said we were too comfortable with the 1-0 lead. That's not a great thing to hear, given what happened in other games over the Christmas period this was a brilliant chance to get fourth spot.

Well Hennessy prove to be outstanding in the second half to keep us out, we are not the only team this happens to, so an exciting chance to bring in a young player without out fear to give Wolves something to thing about. Park? Err no. The Ox? No, two players who are guaranteed a move in January, Arshavin and Chamak who currently could not shoot their way out of a wet paper bag and who's goal stats make for poor reading these days, are called upon to make the difference. Might as well put a cork in my blow football straw then. So it finished 1-1 but as Sufergirl would say it was "Murray Walkered" in the morning by several pundits saying it was an easy win for the Arsenal, unbeaten in 13 games against Wolves and their last win away to us 1976?

As for the ref, well another poor display, did he see Song getting fouled before the yellow and what was that red card all about? I just hope that the ref association has a long hard look at it's members performances over Christmas!

Finally if Henry is the Answer, what question is Arsene asking?

Laters,
The Dog
