Christmas forward for GFS but a backwards thanks to the Spirits of Christmas past! Sorry but what the Dickens!

Well what a season for Arsenal since August, written off, written on, written off again and who knows what Christmas will bring. I write this before the Spuds v Chealski game, god how can you want both to lose, draw and if possible a Chealski win to put the Spuds in their place. Maybe too much to ask of Gooner Santa but given the amount of current flack re JT, Mr Untouchable as SurferGirl said, the luck Spuds seem to be having above us and the press enjoying an Arsenal bash on an ongoing basis perhaps Gooner Santa can spread some magic? Well at the Villa night we got some overdue luck in our favour, we did struggle guys and at times they looked good for the win but we prevailed, I did say the other day Yossi should make a difference. I am so smug right now that he scored the winning goal, He seems to be so proud to be at The Arsenal now that I will forgive him for being a former kopite. Very proud you're a Gooner.

RVP scored but Albrighton got the record goal, what a kicker having that name considering where GFS are based, come on Gooner Santa give us a break down here, but we got a win, yes a coma after but, poor grammer guys I know. Teach if your reading, apologies but feel it's needed, you can tell me how bad it is over a pint. (Come on Ayr, I am off to watch them dismiss Killie, sorry must spell it that way, at the semi final on the 28th of Jan. Major adverts in the Record, get in!) So we move into Christmas with our tails up, thanks to Charlie George for that, with Liverpool dropping points, ( I apologise for not using slang for the BMW spare suppliers but been asked not to......oh Damn it) and a London Derby at Shite Fart Pain (oops sorry did it again) we still look good for the Christmas period to get some much needed points and keep us in the chase. I am really looking forward to the up coming games and for the CL too. A good session in the Dentist Chair, see my previous blog, I really think we are in for a good 2012. As Mrs F would say, positive thoughts.

As I write Adypaymore has scored but will leave it to Mrs F to finish that rubbish off.. Back to my thread, a poor, in fact dreadful start to the new season, me an SuferGirl getting mucho Grief at the 8-2 but hey, we were still singing, to top English performing team in Europe. The loss of Jack, Saggy, Gibbs et al has not stopped us and as for RVP? What can you say. A farewell to Cesc, good riddance to Na£i made an eventful 2011.

A big thanks to the Gooner family for helping with the tickets once again, hope you guys are following them, to Big Ray Winston, you sound more like him each day, oh by the way I have planning permission for your new shirt, to many muscles but get well soon. To Danny who I met at the Everton game, look forward to your writing. Also a big thanks to Chelski Marcus for giving us permission for the Gooner History video coming to GFS in 2012. Yes his Grandad was a huge Gooner and we have his Highbury memories to share with you all next year on our You Tube channel. Watch out for the video coming from Kam too!

Finally a big thanks to the new GFS family, from small things to what will happen next year, well gob smacked and can only say a really big thank you to all of you readers for such an exciting 4 months and watch out for next year guys. To Mrs F, god bless you for your patience, new laptop ok? SuferGirl for your never failing support. Gooner Dan and Littlem, bless you and The Ghost, a hit in the UK and SA. I think I have copped the bank holiday write up but.....well it is Arsenal. Merry Christmas, or happy holidays or just thanks to Gooners where ever you are, without you where would The Arsenal be?

Laters,
The, very proud, Dog
