Positive Thoughts Make Positive Things Happen! With Mrs F :D

First off... It's sad news again, that a great player and coach passed away yesterday Garry Speed. I'm sure every ones thoughts are with his family. Such a great shame..

Well, we have Man City tomorrow. Great... I have to admit I'm quite happy how things are going for them at the moment, but before you think I'm going to praise them I'm not. They lost over the week to Napoli 2-1 and then draw away at Anfield yesterday. I hope this has dampened their spirits for how well they've started off this season, with the lucky bonus that striker Mario Balotelli and midfielder Gareth Barry are suspended for the game, woo hoo!
Also Samir Nasri will be making his first appearance against Arsenal since leaving the club, I'm sure he's going to get a warm welcome, not! lol! Even though Arsene Wenger has said to the Arsenal faithfuls to go easy on him, we'll just have to wait and see.
I just hope we can step up against (I hate to say this) this great squad of players and beat them to the ground, crying while their at it. We'll just have to pray extra hard.. While we are unbeaten for our last 10 games we still face a huge test against them, if we can beat them in the Carling Cup I think we could go on to beat them in the Premier League. Positive thoughts people, always positive!
Like I said to my friend Ben yesterday when Liverpool were playing Man City, he was saying he'd be happy for a draw. You shouldn't go into a game thinking that way, you should always be thinking "yes we can!" And towards the end he was proper going for it, with me along with him, I don't want the money rich buying their way into the top four team stealing our Invincibles season. We earned it, while they've bought it. Every team that plays them now (even Spurs) I'll be routing for them to kick their ass! Maybe we'll be the ones to take it away from them, now wouldn't that be great!

Well, I'm thinking positively tonight and all of tomorrow, and maybe if theirs enough people thinking the way I am we'll send all that energy into the team. Then we might, no we will go away with a win tomorrow, maybe 1-0, maybe 2-1 you get the idea. So everyone positive thoughts, gets positive results (I hope!)

Lets kick some Man City butt tomorrow!

Goodnight guys,
 Love Mrs Fabregas

Please some air for a flat Sunday

Well, should have kept my mouth shut on Twitter yesterday when I said Fulham were yet to have a defender score for them this season in the prem, TV5 corrected that little issue, although it was a freak goal but we are still undermined by defensive errors, even if it is only one, that is all the opposition need. However credit to TV5 he came back and scored to make it 1-1 so Fulham are still to beat us at home. All credit to them though, they came with a game plan and stuck to it if only Ramsey and Djourou had stuck theirs away then we would be sitting pretty on 3 points again. Well we did not lose and it is a marathon not a race so bring on Wigan next weekend.

I was amazed with the scores this weekend, Manure draw with Newcastle looking good, Citeh with the scouse, Yes I know Spuds and Chelski won but look at the opposition, no disrespect to them but either hardly had a game on their hands and with the upcoming games due in December, Citeh will have their unbeaten league run ruined, I see lots of chances for us to keep climbing. 7th tonight and still unbeaten in 6!!!!!!

I was reading today that Citeh want to bid for RVP. They seem to be really good at disrupting teams and with this kind of behaviour, just unsettle guys and we will win. I have no respect for you Shitteh, history is built on respect, not money. here is to the oil barrens going blip! Oh no more oil!

Finally my heart goes out the the Family of Gary Speed. I do not know what kind of heart ache he was going through to do such a thing but I do know what it is to have some one taken from you so from all at GFS, rest in peace Gary and our condolences.

Adios Nasri, Hello Arteta‏

  • Mikel Arteta has contributed goals and assists to the Arsenal cause since his deadline day move to the Emirates Stadium, and Arsene Wenger believes his all-round game has helped lay the foundations for an unbeaten run that now stretches to nine games in all competitions.

  • The 29-year-old Spaniard has been a key cog in the Gunners midfield, seamlessly slotting into the role vacated by the injured Jack Wilshere - who is expected to be out until February after recently undergoing ankle surgery.

  • "Mikel is an extremely important player in our team because he has both sides that make a team good," Wenger told Arsenal Player. He is consistent going forward, technically fantastic and he works very hard for the team. He is an organiser too and does the job defensively in vital parts.

  • "We look solid at the moment and he has to take a big part of the credit because he does both jobs offensively and defensively - with quality."

  • Arsenal's poor early-season form now seems a distant memory, thanks to the goalscoring exploits of club captain Robin Van Persie who has spearheaded the team's revival, but Wenger also paid tribute to Arteta - whose committed displays in the middle of the park have aided their ever-increasing solidity.

  • "I am very happy with his defensive job and he is rewarded for it because he plays," the Frenchman added.

  • "If I play him it is because I am happy with the job he does and if he had not done such a consistent job defensively he would not be in the team.

  • "I believe that Mikel Arteta is a winner and on the pitch he does what is needed to help the team win. That's what I rate."

  • Later, the Ghost!

    Thank God it's Friday

Well what another week for Arsenal. Top of the league in the CL, best performing English team I might add, and we have gone from relegation fodder to 7th in the Premiership with just 3 points off 3rd behind the Spuds! Who would have thought that after the drubbing at manure. Mind you the press still seem to lag behind in praise (Do you know we have not won a trophy in six years? I didn't) and are still running after arry like puppies after a treat!

Anyway Fulham tomorrow and they have not come to Arsenal and won a game and if there current run is anything to go by we should have a further 3 points in the bag. For us a run of six wins on the bounce will do the team a power of good. With no injuries from midweek and captain fantastic on fire at the moment I have every confidence tomorrow and for the season. Top 4 is looking good now.

SO a big thanks you to Surfergirl for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and the food was amazing. My first ever and hopefully more of them in the future. Anyone see the clip of the xfactor girl in the States forgetting the national anthem? Sums up xfactor me thinks! At a packed stadium too, least she could have hummed the tune.

Oh and it looks like Tevez could be off to Milan, so much closer to home then!

That's all for now and to all Gooners enjoy tomorrow.

If you could, what would you say?

    Good evening all,

First a big thanks to all who sent messages following our loss. I cannot say much as you will understand but I have to say a big thank you to Mrs F. You moved so many people with your blog, so from the bottom of my heart I say, no one could express it better!

Anyway, good news. Arsene will see out his contract till 2014 and will not be going anywhere. I know this will upset a certain section of Gooners but we need some consistency over the coming months and a strong man at the helm is not to be dismissed.
On TalkSport or as most Gooners say, talkshite it was fab to hear a Gooner taxi driver giving Goughie a really hard time over his opinion on Spuds being a new brand of football. Now most Gooners went with the 2004 season, which I can understand, however, this was not a like for like team comparison, as he said, who have they really beaten yet and at the age of 52 he could do what Adypaymore did last night. He was a true Gooner, with passion but also a sense of humour which I have not heard for a while. Check it out on TalkSport it is well worth a listen.

So Arry says Spuds are good enough to win the league? Love the fact he has a dream and but get real, neither we or they have the money to compete with Shitty, however as Jack has put a major bet on twitter, £3000 to charity if Spuds finish above us or £1 from every Spud if not shows our passion as a team to turn our season around and I for one, thanks to Geordie D cannot wait for the Spuds game 2012, and you guys must learn to behave when you come to the Grove. Be adults and respect where you are!

CL tomorrow, looking forward to that but I hope there is no big fall out from Shitty game in Napoli. 33 stabbings in 18 months and Uefa does nowt. Excuse my French but what a bag of shite, Uefa, FIFA love all things non UK, as Bloater said we are a small island, TWAT, we know what you have been up to and we,( sorry to say but you hate it,) invented the game, show some respect!

Well that's it from me and thanks again to my Gooner Family, where ever you are.

A Sad Day For The GFS Family

Today is a day that no one would ever wish apon someone. One of our GFS family members has sadly passed away, Dereck Chapman Spencer...

He was watching us from afar but always with us, and was closer to some more than others but he meant a lot to everyone. He was a Newcastle fan but always had a soft spot for Arsenal, his son Chris Spencer who also sadly passed away earlier this year was a massive Gunners fan and even had his own box (lucky sod!)

Dereck helped everyone in so many ways from behind the scenes, that not many of you would have noticed. He bought mine and many other friends and fans Arsenal shirts, paid for my very first trip up to Arsenal including my friends as well, along with more games after that. To which we still have two games to go to this season, that will now be in his memory. Also I've just found out that he has had a plaque put up at the Armory with the GFS name and the members below it, which made me cry to think I couldn't thank him for every thing he's done already and more. He also helped other fans when they needed him and looked out for everyone. He was an all round amazing guy, that had been through the bad and the good and still managed to come out on top!

He was meant to be joining us for Thanksgiving this year, but instead now we will have a place saved for him and have Thanksgiving in his memory and what he has done for us and how much he has made an impact on our lives.
This sad news has especially hit one of our members, as he thought of him as a father figure and looked up to him with great respect and has learned a lot about life and business from him.

So please have a moment for us the GFS family to think of people that have changed or made an impact on your lives, and take solace that, that person is still with you or is thinking of you in a place where you know their happy and cherish the moments you'll have or had with them.

    Dereck Chapman Spencer    1949-2011    R.I.P
     We'll love you always..

    After match report‏

.He grabbed his first with a tap-in from Theo Walcott's cross and clipped in a superb second from Alex Song's pass.Steve Morrison had pounced on an error by Per Mertesacker to give the hosts an early lead Time and again in the opening hour of the match Arsenal cut through thSo it ends Arsenal 2- 1 Norwich, Robin Van Persie scoring both of the Arsenal goals the Dutchman, in prolific recent form, was again the difference to reward a vibrant attacking Gunners displaye Norwich team with swift and accurate passing and, most notably, the pace of Walcott on the right, but time and again the Gunners failed to convert their chances. In the first quarter of an hour alone, Arsenal could have been two or three goals ahead, Gervinho having a shot blocked, Van Persie scuffing wide when well placed and then Walcott denied a goal by a simply stunning goalline clearance by Russell Martin. It was a nervy last 20 minutes with Norwich looking dangerous, coming forward but it was short lived. Well done Gunners that's 5 in a row, looking forward to more. Next week its a late game vs Fulham who's playing Sunderland today, will have a look and see what they are up to, Arsenal should win that match but you never know what can happen in this rather strange Premier league season. Watching Man City vs Newcastle at the moment and I really hope its a draw or a win for the baggies.....Signing off now, The Ghost

Apologies, Thierry Henry, Wengers xmas wish and Thanksgiving approaching with Mrs Fabregas

    Hey guys,
Sorry we haven't had a post up everyday recently, it's been a bit hectic at the moment. My manager is leaving so it's been crazy for me, and the Dog was living it large in NY! We will be back on track soon, I promise. :)

Anyway... Thierry Henry (legend!) Is back at Arsenal keeping fit and training with the lads until he returns to the States in February. I had a chance to shake his hand at the Arsenal v Red Bulls game, but the boys were in a hurry to get back to the Gunners pub. I didn't realise this until I saw the highlights when I got home, to which I repeatedly hit the Dog saying (jokingly) "You bastard, why did we have to leave straight away!" But hey ho, it would have been awesome though.

Arsene Wenger has said that all he wants for Christmas is to close the gap between us and Man City. We've got a winning streak going at the moment, which is great and I hope we can keep it up. I didn't think for how we started this season that we'd be possibly finishing in the top four, but then again Liverpool started the same last year they just took a bit longer to get back on their feet.

With Thanksgiving approaching next Thursday (I can't wait!) I shall be stuffing my face along with the Dog and Surfergirl, I have to admit it's the BEST meal of the year! I shall put a picture up of my dinner plate, and the massive turkey that we all get our mits into. Along with a nice bottle of Tuaca, the old kind though (the new stuff tastes like crap) I hope the makers of Tuaca see this and change it back, we should start a petition. :)

Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend and I'm looking forward to Norwich v Arsenal tomorrow, we should be getting a match report from the Ghost so watch out! Come on you gunners, lets keep this winning streak going!!

    FIFA Follies

Well he had to do it didn't he? Mr Sepp Blatter yet again pulls on his size 14's and leaps head first into more stupidity care of his lack of brain. How can you go onto a television interview and come out with the most amazing piece of crap it has ever been my misfortune to listen to. This really sums up the man in charge of International football, who states there is no corruption in FIFA.......oh sorry there is and we will investigate and get rid of any voting opposition I may have.....oh yea I am in charge again. Then to come out with "just shake hands as it is a heat of the moment thing?" Muppet!!!!!!!!!

The back tracking is now coming thick and fast with Bloater, Blatter on spell check, using twitter to try and explain his actions. I think the damage is now done and shows that FIFA are managed by complete morons with interest only in their own nest building and have no idea how to govern football worldwide. To come out with such utter garbage when the world of football would be hanging on every word just beggars belief.

So will he be punished? Doubt it. This will be brushed away yet again unless countries decide to stand up against this man but I really cannot see that happen.

So Barcelona want to play Manure on a Saturday and increase the CL games. Nothing to do with money then eh? Just get rid of years of domestic history to appease the gods of TV and finance. Am I a dinosaur? Maybe, but I believe in passion and pride in my sport and that is why I have always loved The Arsenal as they have always embodied this, whatever the decade so that gets a no from me. I guess in the end most fans will not have a say but I just hope we can all be bloody minded enough so our voices can be heard.

Finally Suarez gets charged by the FA along with Terry. Expect the punishment to be two hours of shaking hands with Sepp Bloater (god bless you spell check for that name).

Six steps to Kevin Bacon? Na Make that Arsenal!

There are many sayings in life, like "you wait for an hour then 3 buses come at once" or as the title of the blog suggests there are six steps to Kevin Bacon. Well make that Arsenal. Having been away over the pond it amazes me that you are never far from something Arsenal or in fact from Gooner Family. Take this pic for example.

It was just two buildings down from the Hotel on 35th Street in New York and it is a scaffolding company called Arsenal, how cool is that. I would recommend them to Gooners in the UK but doubt if they do overseas jobs. Also to be greeted with "Goooooner!" in Times Square when my cap was spotted and the same thing in Central Park. When it comes to The Arsenal it really is a very small world indeed but also shows the strength of the Arsenal Family. Made me very proud to be a Gooner. Also a big thanks to the NY Gunners for the tips etc and I hope to be able to watch a game with you at the Blind Pig in the not so distant future. NY was amazing, as was the drinking, shame about the inter lull which does get in the way!

Talking of all things International What is Cesc thinking at the moment. Sorry Mrs F I know you love him but he is well off my Christmas card list now with his comments about RVP and England in general as a footie nation. I have a message for you Cesc. But Out! You left to go to Catalonia so get on with your life and let Arsenal get on with it's too. No one wants to hear an ex Arsenal player, who was so close to legend status with us, suddenly pontificate about our Captain and how he should be looking to leave as it is his last big chance! We have enough oars being stuck into our business with the press let alone Cesc adding his 1 pennyworth, sorry Cesc but it ain't worth 2! As for being beaten by England? Well own up to Spain's errors rather than moaning that England were not good. It was a nothing match we know, these friendlies can be but even so England were poor you still lost. Take it like you should and just Shut Up whinging, your beginning to sound like Nasri and that is a big disappointment to me.

Any way moving on. Well done to Louwrens Lemmer for correctly answering our blog question on the pub that featured in our founding. The Royal Oak if your wondering out there and the shirt will be with you soon mate.

I am also proud that we made a young Gooner very happy with this.

This is Carlo, a massive Gooner and we were able to get him a shirt with his favourite player name on it. Now Carlo is now totally Deeeench!

Well that's about it at the mo but more soon from me. Looking forward to the Canaries on Sat but yet another 12.30pm kick off, thanks Sky, so looking forward to our continued rise. A big Hello to Rolo from Charlie George too.

    Anything can happen...

Yesterday was an anything can happen day! My son and I went up to see a puppy at a rehoming place for wildlife. We had seen this puppy on the website and fell in love. We weren't disappointed either, he is lovely! The anything can happen part was when they let him come home with us. With no home check! The girl at the place was so impressed with us and how we were with him, she said she was sure we'd give him a great home and life...

So the other anything can happen thing was England beat Spain!! Who woulda thought!! Fabregras was playing and they still didn't score. He's grown his hair tho! Everyone thought we were going to get slaughtered, some said don't even bother watching it... Well I did watch it, with Mrs. Fabregas and I thought it was worth it! I thought Spain should of been 4 up but are defence held and thank God for goalposts!!

We have Norwich on the 19th and I can't wait!! I hate International breaks, and wincing every time there's a tackle on one of our players. So now that it's over and we can sigh with relief, and look forward to Norwich!!

    Sighing and signing off!

    Note from the Ghost

Well hello there again, Its been 2 great months for Arsenal with 9 wins 1 draw and only 1 loss....Will it continue ? Or will the international break stall our fine form ? I for one think it will continue, and not just because I'm a gooner, We all know us gooners always have a glass half full attitude rather than a glass half empty ! New Arsenal players like Gervinho will get better and better state's Alex Song, and youngsters like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is looking to build a fine start at life under Arsene Wenger and he could be called up for International duty this week. Well good luck for England just cause you Blog buddy's are England fans ( I think ha ha ) And good luck to the Dutch as well.......If I said its been hot, well that would be the understatement of the century its been close to 40 degrees C over here and its spring ?! Could be the hottest summer in history at this rate, and no Arsenal game this week ( Its not getting better ) Cant wait for the holiday.....Next game for Arsenal will be vs Norwich ad that's certainly a game we can win ! So until next time. Bey

Money or Pride for your Country? With Mrs F

Well we've got the old International break staying with us this week, woo hoo (in my sarcastic voice). I'm sorry but when it comes around I just think to myself, "Great, another year trying for another trophy we aren't going to get our hands anywhere near because we just don't have the stamina anymore.." We need to get rid of the old timers and bring in some new, more experienced in the youth kind of guys to take on the shining stars around the world that are running our team in circles.
I know most England fans say it's the manager, but I think it's him and the team, and that it isn't about winning for our country anymore it's about how much money your going to get at the end of it. I've said to a few of my friends that I think the way it should be is if you get to the knock out stages you get a small sum. Then if you get to the next round your amount goes up by a fraction, but if you get to the final you get what you'd normally get paid for every game they seem to play at the moment and the pride that you won something for your country. That's how it should be, and if you don't get into the knockout stages you don't get paid at all! Then the players might start thinking again that it's not for the money but for your country..

At least I've got Norwich vs Arsenal to look forward to, even though I'll still be watching England play on Saturday I'll have more of my heart in it on the 19th..

    Have a good week guys
    Love Mrs Fabregas

Fire, Rookies and general blowing stuff up!!

I've just finished getting through another Bonfire weekend in Lewes! For those of you who have never been there, it chaos, unbelievably organised chaos!!  Fire is the main theme, with effigies and torches held by all the bonfire society members as they march around the town.  All dressed as smugglers!!

Rookies (really powerful fire crackers) are thrown everywhere by the young (I'm talkin 6 and over!) and old (one of the oldest members is 92!). It's amazing to watch and you can't really hear for a couple of days but wouldn't miss it for anything... Kinda like Arsenal.  Amazing to watch, most of the time, and when it's not you don't really want to hear for awhile.  The media seem to be warming to the fact we are looking and playing with more confidence and spirit. That's a nice feeling because I for one was getting sick of all the negativity they were spewing out game after game when we started to pick ourselves up.  So International break is apon us, and that give some time for the injured to recover and the others not playing to rest...

So to re up what littlemsgooner said in the previous blog, lets all cross everything that none of our boys come back hurt....

    Signing off, Surfergirl

P.S. and to The Dog in NY, don't forget my crackers, please!! and syrup!! We love you xxx

    Monday 7 November 2011

Every day in every way things are getting better and better !!

No this is not a plug for the comedy show " Some Mothers Do Av Em "

For those of you that don't have a clue what I'm talking about there was a programme on TV called " Some mothers do av em ".It was about a family man Frank Spencer played by Michael Crawford who was the most accident prone walking disaster. Yes, I can hear you all saying " a bit like Arsenal's defence at times and I would have to agree with you.

Fortunately the last week or so and to the relief of us all it is beginning to look like the team has turned the corner and I'm feeling really positive again.
The game against WBA started slowly and I felt the players looked a bit sluggish but they soon livened up Theo's shot on goal that came back out for RVP to score got the ball rolling so to speak.

The second goal was a beautiful lay off from RVP for Vermaelen to blast one home.

The second half was completely dominated by Arsenal, although even after RVP layed another ball back to Arteta who scored the third goal ,Pat Rice was on the touchline really shouting not wanting the team to lose focus. You can understand his anxiety from past games but the team kept going right to the end and a very pleasing result indeed.

The players are looking so much more confident, the energy and the atmosphere is changing and, we all have a part to play in that, don't ever underestimate how important supporters are at games. It DOES make a difference to the players and the manager to hear our support.

We now have the Interlude for International games and we are all holding our breath waiting for news of players and their safe return unscathed.

The next premier league game is away to Norwich on Saturday 19th November 12.45 pm kick off on SS2.

As Frank Spencer would say "Ooh Betty "

    Sunday 6 November 2011

Hello all, I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.

Firstly I'd like to apologise for my absence. I've had a week off work and spent a lot of time in the pub. Secondly I must confess I haven't yet seen the highlights of West Brom due to terrorist related activities on my most favourite night of the year. A lot was spent on fireworks and alot was cut down smashed up burnt/exploded last night.
Anyway back to the football and I'm still smiling from Chelsea. More so because every time I close my eyes I see that cunt Terry chewing grass. Nothing could get me down, even the snooze fest of Marseille. But that's a draw I can take. I said to the usual suspects in the pub that I'd take 4 points from the 2 games against the frogs so not much to complain about, and it wouldn't be arsenal if went took the straight forward route.....where's the excitement in that. On a brighter note. I was back in the clock end for it and the crowd were up in spirits. Actually stood for the entirety of the 2nd half. Which was a treat as I brought an ozzy mate along so he saw the grove in full swing.
By all accounts rambo smashed it again yesterday and it's good to see the verminator getting one. I think Arteta deserved a goal, he's done alot of unnoticed work recently that's been crucial to us. An even Theo looks like hes remembered to put one foot in front of the other, and keep the ball.
Unfortunately we have an interlude now where we have to cheer along an England team full of cunts I hate Rooney cashley Lampard to name a few and offer up sacrifices to the football gods that not everyone gets injured playing in stupid meaningless cunty friendlies.
Anyway I have a fish finger and cheese butty on the way so I'll love you and leave you.

Oh one last thing, anyone else have a little chuckle at 'arrys ticker????

Arsenal vs West Brom match report‏

Arsenal beat West brom 3-0.First goal came with Aaron Ramsey managing to pick the lock, a sumptuous through ball blindsiding left-back Billy Jones, leaving Theo Walcott a clear run at goal from the right. He tried to shoot in between the legs of Ben Foster, but it caught the goalkeeper’s shins, rebounding to Robin van Persie six yards out. Van Persie made no mistake. Strikers with 28 goals in 27 Premier League games tend not to, and this was his 29th, probably the easiest of them all. Next goa Van Persie latched on to Alex Song’s diagonal ball and cut the ball back from the right byline. Gervinho had timed his run too early at the near post, but the ball rolled across the area for Thomas Vermaelen, who slammed it home scoring his first goal of the season. West Brom had their best chance of the game when Chris Brunt volleyed the ball  well over from the edge of the penalty area, Somen Tchoyi shooting straight at Wojciech Szczesny when well-positioned, Steven Reid’s header from a corner forcing a routine save. But Arsenal were able to pick them off, and made a third goal, Van Persie played it right to Tomas Rosicky, who slipped it back into the path of Van Persie. The Dutcman held the ball up strongly before laying it back to Mikel Arteta, Arteta picked his spot and curled the ball past Foster from 18 yards, scoring his first goal at the Emirates ! Well a decent game not even close to the intensity of last week but a good 3 pointer, and I'm proud of the clean sheet. Well done Gunners. International break and then We face Norwich.                                                                                                                                              Laters the Ghost....

    Friday 4 November 2011

Mrs Fabregas talking all sorts :)

So... I'm looking after the website for while the Dog is away, I'm a bit nervous so wish me luck.

Well it's all a bit quiet till the weekend, when we play West Brom at home.
The 0-0 draw with Marseille in my eyes could of been better, if Ramsey's aim had been more on target we could of possible had two goals. To be honest I barely paid attention to the game as I was frantically writing to get the live blog up, it was a bit stressful at the start as it was my first one. I did start yelling at the Dog to which he replied "I can take over if you'd like?" but I held fast and managed to get on top of things once we got to half time and I'd had a cig with a shot of tequila. ;)
The second half was better with three changes but even RVP couldn't help, he seemed to have bought the team spirit up for about five seconds and then we went back to playing at the pase before.

My friend Ben helped us out on Tuesday because for some reason the Dog's laptop would not connect to the Internet so he went home and bought over his mammoth sized apple computer over, it was quite funny when you walked into the pub, it looked like we were some crazed computer techs running the pub..

After all that I've had a bit of a crazy week, so I hate to admit that football hasn't been on my mind as much but I am looking forward to tomorrow. Plus hopefully we will have it on in the Exchange because we've got a Greece sky box, huhzar!! That's if we don't get any Manc's coming in asking for their game instead so wish us south gooners luck!

    Have an awesome weekend everyone!

    Love Mrs Fabregas

    Family Bloody Family!!

Tonight it's not so much bout Arsenal, as about family...

It seems that no matter how much you can put into your family that they can then turn it around and, well for a better word completely fuck you up.... Just when my daughter and I sort out our problems, my boys bring on more. Why? I have no idea.. But it reminds me of the stuff that happens with the team (Arsenal). There's the horrible bits, like the start of the season, and good bits, like now when they seem to find their feet, boots, guts, gumption... Then there's the media

The team is an extension of your family, and like your family you don't wanna be lied to. I know the media will make things up and sensationalise stuff and you have to sorta read it like a grain of salt.. but in the end it's your team. I say screw the media and let's just look forward. We have West Brom coming up on Sat and I'm quite optimistic!!

We're at number 7 on the 'ol table and they're 13. We were below that a couple of games away and we're going up the the table... Roast beef for me please, with horse radish and Yorkshire puddings!!

Families can drive you to the point of killing them (oh no did I just say that out loud?) and so can Arsenal, but they are your family, just like Arsenal, and that is THAT is most important thing on this beautiful ball we all live on!

    Signing off,

If you Tolerate this will our Arsenal be next?

I am indebted to the Manic Street Preachers for today's blog title and driving my rant today. Silent Stan come out in Praise of the Manc owning Glazers, Kronke said"Since they took over they have won and they have increased the revenues by a huge amount. If I was a fan of that club, I would go there and go wow, because how could you do it any better!" Well Mr Kronke, first thing to remember is that this bunch came in and then dumped a vast amount of debt on the club whilst taking funds out to boot. That may be an American business model but American business is not exactly great shape at the moment?

The chair of the mancs supporters sent us Gooners a warning today when he said we should be worried he has that kind of idea of running a club. Now I have no problem with commercial incomes and people taking monies from their business interest but what I do hate the sound of is one of Europes richest clubs being saddled with debt and ticket prices going sky high, so if that's what Silent Stan has in mind I for one say no thanks.

We have nearly cleared our debts, although we have had to suffer another ticket hike, but we are no where near the kind of debt burden they have and long may that continue!

More soon but had to get that off my chest. 8 points top of our group and a game this weekend then off to New York. Mrs F, it's all yours.

If the Ref had given the penalty we deserved, if Ramsey had put 2 chances away and if the ref had actually played the minutes due we would have won. If If If. If wishes were pounds eh?

Night and Laters from Mrs F and the Dog and with help from Apple Ben!
